Booking & Pricing
How far in advance should I book?
For weekends and peak season (May graduations, summer weddings, December holidays) we recommend 4–8 weeks notice. For smaller weekday events, 1–2 weeks is usually fine. We do accept rush bookings under 72 hours when our schedule allows — a 20% rush fee applies.
How much does balloon décor cost?
Our Petite package starts at $245, the Signature package is $595, and the Luxe package is $1,250. Custom installations are quoted individually based on size, materials, and complexity. Most full-event setups land between $350 and $1,500.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event. We accept card, ACH, Venmo, and Zelle.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 30 days out: full refund minus the deposit. 14–30 days out: 50% refund of any payment beyond the deposit. Inside 14 days: all payments are non-refundable, but we will work with you to reschedule within 12 months at no extra cost.
Can I change my package or add things later?
Absolutely. Upgrades can happen anytime before final payment (7 days out). Downgrades are accepted up to 14 days before your event. Add-ons inside 7 days are subject to availability.
Setup & Logistics
What is your service area?
We serve the metro area within a 25-mile radius of our studio with no delivery fee. Beyond that, we charge $1.50/mile each way. We will travel further for larger bookings — just ask.
Do you set up outdoors?
Yes, regularly. We monitor weather and recommend air-filled (not helium) installations for outdoor events. We anchor frames with sandbags or stakes. In extreme heat, winds over 20mph, or active rain, we may suggest a covered location or rescheduling for safety. Your deposit transfers — no charge for weather-related reschedules.
How long does setup take?
Small garlands: 30–60 minutes. Standard arches and Signature setups: 1–2 hours. Luxe full-room installations: 3–5 hours. We always arrive 2–3 hours before guests, and earlier for larger jobs.
Do you take the balloons down afterwards?
Takedown is included free for installations over $600. For smaller bookings it's an optional $75 add-on. If you skip takedown, we'll leave clear instructions for safe disposal.
Balloons & Materials
How long do the balloons actually last?
Our garlands and arches hold up beautifully for 24–72 hours indoors at room temperature. Outdoor displays in heat or direct sun last 6–12 hours. We use professional-grade balloons and treat helium balloons with Hi-Float for extended float time of 2–5 days.
Helium or air-filled?
Most modern installations — arches, garlands, columns, walls — are air-filled on frames. They look sculpted, hold their shape, and last longer than helium. We use helium for floating bouquets, single accent balloons, and giant centerpiece numbers/letters.
Can you match my exact colors or theme?
Yes. Send us a Pinterest board, mood image, fabric swatch, or invitation photo — we'll match it. We stock over 80 balloon colors plus specialty finishes like chrome, pearl, confetti, and double-stuffed shades.
Are the balloons safe for kids and pets? Latex allergies?
We use 100% biodegradable natural latex balloons. If anyone attending has a latex allergy, please tell us at booking — we offer foil-only and bubble balloon alternatives at no extra cost. We never use loose helium balloons around small children unsupervised.
The Little Stuff
Can we use the photos on social media?
Please do — tag @jollygoodballoons. We also love photographing our installations for our own portfolio. If you'd prefer we don't use photos of your event publicly, just say so in writing before the event and we'll respect that 100%.
Do you do venues I haven't already booked?
Yes. We've worked at most major venues in the area and can recommend ones that suit your guest count and aesthetic. Just ask.
Do you offer gift cards or referral discounts?
Yes to both. Gift cards are available in any denomination — perfect for a baby shower gift. Refer a friend and you both get 10% off your next booking.
I don't see my event type listed. Can you still help?
Almost certainly yes. We've styled engagements, retirement parties, divorce parties, pet birthdays, gallery openings, brand pop-ups, hospital homecoming surprises, and proposal moments. If you can dream it up, we can probably build it. Tell us what you're planning.
